Head piece of the 3T is same size as a 3month shirt

Head hole way too small for the toddler sizing. When trying to stretch it to get over my son's head it ripped the shirt. It's now garbage. Compared the head hole to other clothes and it's not even close, it matched the 3-6 month clothing.
